The stunning spacious master bedroom had a plunge pool, perfect for chilling out. Incredible views of the Indian Ocean. The meals served on the large private veranda made for a truly memorable experience, with the sound of crashing waves setting the scene.

The Wi-Fi connection could be hit or miss, which might be a hassle if you're looking to stay connected.

The dining was an absolute delight! Each dish at the hotel was a fresh masterpiece, the seafood was particularly memorable. Staying at the Kurumba House, we basked in the serene atmosphere and the lovely outdoor veranda, while staff ensured every whim was attended to.

Such a chill spot right by the beach! The gardens are beautiful, and the staff went totally out of their way to make us feel at home. Food was lekker, and I reckon brekkie by the pool was a highlight!

the place was lovely, but the sea view room had no tea or coffee maker—how quaint, really. And good luck with the WiFi, it was practically dial-up speed. I almost gave this a glowing review, were it not for the lack of complimentary upgrades or a simple welcome gesture that would have made my stay somewhat special.

A hidden gem with top-notch hospitality

Our stay was truly unforgettable, highlighted by the stunning ambience of the Kurumba House and the beautiful private pool. We enjoyed delicious meals, particularly the fresh tropical fruits and a delightful Sri Lankan curry feast. A special mention to Gihan, whose attentiveness made us feel cherished throughout our visit. Although the shared pool sometimes felt crowded, it didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience.

had a small issue with the bed being a tad too firm for my liking, but everything else was stellar. the staff were super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, especially the rice and curry, and the beach was totally breathtaking.
